Effect of Shock Absorber on Vehicle Limits
Jurka, Adam ; Blaťák, Ondřej (referee) ; Hejtmánek, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this master’s thesis is to evaluate the effect of shock absorber on vehicle limits. At the beginning of the thesis, shock absorber properties were described. Then computational model was created and manoeuvres for shock absorber behaviour were defined. Created mathematical model is based on quarter model of a car and excitation in form of road with a random profile is an essential part of the model. This model was used for evaluation of heave. After heave analysis, shock absorber behaviour during drive was investigated. Drive conditions were defined as set of handling manoeuvres. For the drive investigation, complete multibody virtual model of racing car was used. Based on drive investigation analysis, optimal damping characteristics for each manoeuvre were found. Furthermore, each optimal characteristic was compared for different manoeuvres. Obtained results were compared. As a conclusion, compromise damping characteristic was suggested with the aim to fit the combination of all defined drive conditions. Final part of the thesis was aimed at validation of the computational model. Data measured during real drive were used as an input for this validation.
Reconstruction of undetachable LORD MR damper
Lochman, Vít ; Macháček, Ondřej (referee) ; Mazůrek, Ivan (advisor)
The bachelor´s thesis deals with the design and the realization of the modification of the non-demountable magnetorheological damper LORD, which has gained an atypical Fv characteristic in the course of time. The first part of the thesis deals with the operation of the magnetorheological liquid and the various design variants of the magnetorheological dampers. The practical part is devoted to the reverse engineering and the design of the damper modification itself. The complete drawing documentation of the original and the modified damper is included in this work.
Vibration damper development and innovation of a laboratory stand
Filipi, Jaroslav ; Mazůrek, Ivan (referee) ; Nevrlý, Josef (advisor)
Bachelor work deals with description and functionality of vibration dampers. Since the vibration dampers is a wealth of species, work is focusing on the dampers used in cars known as shock absorbers suspension. I have described conventional shock absorbers suspension and modern shock absorbers suspension. Furthermore, I described active chassis. High-quality equipment is very important for the future development of dampers. I propose possible ways of innovation existing laboratory stand.
Motor vehicle wheel suspension
Martínek, Tomáš ; Ambróz, Richard (referee) ; Laurinec, Marián (advisor)
This thesis deals with overview of different types of motor vehicle wheel suspension. Their characteristics, advantages and disadvantages are described along with several structural designs. Basic construction principles of commonly used shock absorbers are also presented.
Design of mechatronic system with electromagnetic damper for presentation of oscillation
Borek, Dušan ; Lošák, Petr (referee) ; Hadaš, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis deals with design of mechatronic system with electromagnetic damping to control the oscillator with single degree of freedom. Final system should present the immediate effects of the excitation and damping of the basic dynamic system.
Simulation modeling of a vibration absorber
Kukačka, Radek ; Vetiška, Jan (referee) ; Březina, Lukáš (advisor)
The bachelor thesis gives an overview of different design solutions to car shock absorbers. The rest of the thesis describes a simplified model of passive shock absorber and its optimization. The survey contains shock absorbers used in the present. There are various passive telescopic dampers and modern semi active and active electronically controlled damping systems. The second part includes several simplified models of passive dampers. There is described an optimization of the damper parameters with respect to the displacement of the primary mass for each of the models.
Chalder for grinder Jupiter 125
Novák, Aleš ; Jansa, Jiří (referee) ; Blecha, Radim (advisor)
Thesis deal with proposal construction Chalder for centreless grinding machine Jupiter 125. Chalder is designed for workpiece with maximum average 12 mm, maximum longitude 120 mm and mass 0,1 kg. In the thesis are described components that were used at solving and intended time exchanges workpiece, the economics estimation and processed needed design documentation.
Axle Assessment Using the EUSAMA Methodology
Novák, Petr ; Gajdoš, Petr (referee) ; Mazůrek, Ivan (advisor)
Bachelor thesis deals with problems about areas of a non-assembling diagnostics according to an EUSAMA methodology. Result of the methodology is a technical condition examination of dampers. However with regard to testing of whole suspension and damping vehicle system are results distorted by influence of other vehicle components. EUSAMA needed improvements because of new super light city vehicles and vehicles with runflat tires. Goal of thesis is addition criterion for the EUSAMA which can be used in current EUSAMA suspension testers. Problems are solved by a virtual simulation where is created a model of real vehicle FIAT 500.
Single purpose machine for automotive parts assembly
Landing gear design of two-seat airplane
Čavojský, Tomáš ; Pejchar, Jan (referee) ; Vaněk, František (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the landing gear design of the small two-seat aircraft. The introduction focuses on the conceptual gear design and shock absorber computational dynamic characteristic model. The practical part is focused on the landing gear construction according to the selected parameters based on the conceptual and computational model. The diploma thesis ends with strength calculations and production documentation.
